About This Quote

The quote above is the perfect definition of ignorance and ignorance is a disease that we all suffer from in one way or another. The person suffering from this disease does not know he is suffering and the sufferer feels like he has all the time in the world. For instance, I know that I am not pretty, smart or good at sports. However, I feel like none of that matters because I have my friends and family and I’m confident that they love me no matter what.

Having no ambition in this world means you will never know who you truly are and the person suffering from the disease will not progress in his life in any way. But, if a person does have ambitions in this world, he knows he is suffering and he moves forward very slowly because he knows his mind is telling him to give up. You can only progress when you are aware of your shortcomings and when you work towards improving yourself.
